Dreams

Not much is going on there right now. Steve has just started a new job. It sounds like he is really enjoying it. The increase in wage does not hurt either. My job has just under gone a owner transfer. They say that nothing will change but only time will tell it that is true. I have faith that nothing with but......

I found some very exciting news this week. Reba is coming to town. I have always wanted to see her in concert but never thought that she would come. I got tickets and can not wait for July 14 to come. Have you ever had a dream as a kid that you thought would not come true and does. It is great. This is number 3. The first was graduating from college. I was told many years ago that with my learning disability that I would be luck to finish high school and never go to college. Well I did both (I have never used my diploma in the workforce but I know that I did it.) The second was ,may sound funny but, I went to see Stars on Ice a couple of years ago. I was so happy, it was a dream come true. I even shed a couple of tears at the end of the program. It was almost an out of body experience.

The next couple of weeks a going to be really busy. I am going camping the long weekend, the weekend after we are helping with a car rally. In June, I have to go to Edmonton for a dress fitting (bridesmaid dress), a wedding shower. Then in July 7 I have a stag in Edmonton, July 14 the concert, July 21 my 6th anniversary (to my wonderful and loving husband), July 28 my brothers wedding. And who knows what else could be added to the calender.

On that note just remember that no matter how busy your life is ..... Dreams do come true.

I do wish I had lots to do coming up...I thought after the past 6 or so months being crazy busy I would relish the fact that I don't have any plans...But to tell you the truth...I'm going stir crazy! Ok...it's not like I don't have anything to do...we have friends from NZ coming this weekend, a birthday bash the following weekend...but that's it really now till July when we go away for Smiley and Susan's birthdays (Susan will be 30!) Not that you know who she is...

I'm so glad your dreams are coming true hunny...no matter how silly they seem to other people! x
